Doing Business with The Chamber of Commerce...makes Good Business Sense!

  • Networking - The Chamber of Commerce holds several business/social events each year including the Tour de Ephrata bike race, Spring Home and Garden Expo, Golf Tournament, Business Expo, and Theater Outing, providing many networking and sponsorship opportunities.

  • Promotion - Advertising and promotional opportunities exist in the monthly newsletter, Down to Business...with the Ephrata Area Chamber, in tourism and relocation packets, and in the Chamber's Visitor Center

Members receive plaques which show your customers and clients that you are a Member of the Chamber.

In addition, Chamber members can link their websites with the Chamber website.

  • Referrals - Calls to the Chamber Office for business information are referred only to Chamber members.

Chamber membership brings a note of credibility and distinction to a business. Inquiries about the membership status of a particular business by outside agents, prospective customers or clients result in a range of impressions left by the answers: "No, they are not a Chamber Member" or "Yes, they are a Chamber Member."

  • Education - The Chamber's Education Committee offers a minimum of two seminars per year on topics relevant to Chamber members and their business. Member businesses also sponsor a 'Student of the Month" at area schools, and the Chamber also sponsors Career Day.

  • Improve the Local Community - Chamber member businesses are "preferred" businesses because they make the commitment to the purposes of the Chamber - the promotion of the civic, commercial and educational prosperity of the community and the region. Chamber members are leaders and participants, ambassadors and supporters, and business advocates before government agencies.

  • Information - Chamber membership meetings are held on a regular basis with timely and lively speakers. They offer networking and promotional opportunities to members.

  • Tourism - The Chamber Office serves as a Visitor Center for the region, and provides helpful information on the area and its attractions. Only information from Chamber members is distributed.

  • Legislation - Being part of the Chamber is a chance to make your concerns heard at the local and state level. The Legislative Committee solicits the opinions of its members, and corresponds with local legislators to make those opinions known. In addition, many Chamber members also serve in various capacities with local and regional government agencies.

  • Group Insurance for Sole Proprietors
